The eBoost Consulting Internship Program (eBoost Interns) is a pioneering launch pad for San Diego's brightest digital marketing leaders.
Since June 26, 2007, eBoost Consulting has prepared over 40 interns – spanning 11 classes – to embark on careers in digital marketing and pursue their passions. Every business quarter, 5 people are selected to enter the famed "Orange Room " for 240 hours of collaboration, learning, and application.
eBoost Interns are trained through a comprehensive curriculum to develop cross-functional expertise of every area of practice that eBoost Consulting works on: persona development, conversion design, search engine optimization, social media marketing, paid search, email marketing, analytics, and website development. They get full accessibility to all eBoost Consulting team members which collectively sees to it that eBoost Interns will graduate the program as better marketers, better consultants and better leaders. Graduates of our program have gone on to managing and director level positions for San Diego's top companies.
eBoost Interns come from many career phases – college students, graduate students, people in career transitions – and many unique backgrounds – engineering, finance, graphic design, PR, marketing. What they have in common are 5 traits:
eBoost Interns operates as its own self-sustaining mini-consulting firm for nonprofits. At the core of its work, eBoost Interns provide a full pro-bono digital marketing engagement to at least one 501(c)3 nonprofit organization per class. Around this work, eBoost Interns are responsible for marketing the program (including producing a class video), recruiting and hiring the next internship class, recruiting and hiring the next nonprofit that the proceeding class will engage with, and producing an issue of SevenOneTwoFive (a quarterly magazine on cutting-edge digital marketing). Each intern of each class is expected to lead one initiative.
The AjA Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization headquartered in San Diego, California, that utilizes photography-based educational programs to transform the lives of displaced youth. Utilizing participatory photography methods and an assets-based model, AjA's after-school programs encourage youth to reflect upon and think critically about their identities, increase their social capacities and gain leadership skills.
